A brief description of your character: A grown male human with black hair and a tan complexion. He may have been born middle class or higher from the look of him, but as he can only communicate through gestures and writing, any status he may have had is now gone. He often dresses in dark clothes and while mostly quiet his frequent gesturing can get annoying.
Why/How is your character in Skuldhellir: He's trying to distance himself from his family for reasons that are his own.

Strengths:---Natural: Stronger than he looks and he can hear well.
He is able to say the word 'no' and a few near words 'Ma' and 'Da', other than that he just makes sounds though can laugh and cry like most people.
---Learned: His mother made sure he was trained so he could defend himself if he were to get in a fight. He can read, gesture, and write to communicate with people.
Due to his behavior he could maybe pass himself off as a side show/jester type performer or something. (like vaudeville or whatever, but maybe not).
And he has some skill in baking. (bread, tarts, cakes, ect.) Not very good with other types of cooking (ie stews, soups, ect.) He can stick a piece of meat in a fire til it look done or burnt but not the best cook, just an fairly good baker.

Weaknesses: He can't really talk except to make sounds, laugh, cry and with effort can say a few words. He can say 'no' and 'Ma' and 'Da', whether the last two count as words is debatable. He has little control over his voice and is usually loud when he tries to talk, though he doesn't mean to be.
