General:


Alt Name:
Scream for Freedom

A brief description of your character:
A huge tall man, with chains wrapped arround and inside his body, showing sometimes horrible prayers to faraway demons.
Always bleeding from a terrible wound

Why/How is your character in Skuldhellir:
He fought his way out of slavery...and needs now a bit time to relax and plan for the future.


Strengths:
---Natural:
-Very strong
-Pain resistent.
-He has a very strong will. It's very hard to break his spirit, or just trying to convince him.
---Learned:
"Martial Artist": He is just very good at kicking, punching, biting...all kind of unarmed battle.
General: He knows the chains of command and a few tactics. He can lead a group of 25 people into battle without a problem.


---Supernatural:
Abyssal Exalted:
-He does not age.
-Regenerates his health pretty fast, and with enough time, even limbs may regrow.
-His body is VERY sturdy.
-Cannot get non-supernatural illnesses.
Chain-weapons: Those chains in and arround him? They are a weapon. They have a radius of two meters. He can take a grip on them, or cut them. The chains are not very strong though.



Weaknesses:

-He looks like a nightmare, crawling chains and always bleeding wound...crooked teeth which all of them are very sharp. Pale skin...
-Every month, he needs some human flesh or blood to survive. (and since he can't start fights to get it...he will ask people niceley for it)
-Weak to anything holy, no matter from what religion.


Great Geas of Balance:
To even enter this world, he had to make an oath. He cannot start any fights. He might join a battle to aid a good friend, and attack out of self-defense.

Dark Fate:
The greatest disadvantage of Scream. His masters still has a connection with him and observe his actions.
If he commits any sins of live or death, his masters will grow angry...and if he did to much, they will punish him severe. These sins are:

-Protecting live: He is not allowed, to save someones alive. Like pushing them away from harm, or pull them up, if they hang on the edge. HE can kill others, to save people though.

-Creating live: Siring a child is a big no for the Neverborn
-Praying to any gods, except the Neverborn themself.
-NOT acting on the plan of the Neverborn. Which is: Destroy everything and suck it into the Underworld. Then, suck everything into the void...and be unmade themself.
-Answering or just mentioning his old name.
-Having relationships with the living, espeacily if they are towards friendship or love.
-Disobeying any greater serveants of the Neverborn (...it's unlikely though, that he meets any here)

Flawed Temperance:
If he shows any kind of Temperance, restraining his rage, etc. It acts like, his masters gets angry on him.

The punishments:
Blight:
-Light: An animal he holds dear dies. Arround him is a zone of death, 10 meters wide. Plants die there.
-Severe:A mortal he holds dear dies (an NPC, no player char...that would be mean). The Zone is 30 meters wide and also kills small animals in there.
-Harsh:The zone of death changes into a Shadowland, where the Underworld and the living world mixes. 100 meters away from the shadowland is the zone of death again.

Stigmata:
His masters wounds him...it cannot kill him, but if it's to much, he falls unconcious. Which can be deadly in a fight. The wounds he got from this, heal very slowly, needing weeks.
The angier his masters are, the worse the wounds get. It might even cripple him for months.

Branding:
-Light: He appears clearly far more inhuman and the area arround him seems haunted. Shadows move, mirrors show no reflexion of the living.
-Severe: Animals will try to flee if they just see him, and it's very easy to track him down. The haunted aura increases and always shows hints where he is.
-Harsh:For a whole day, if people merely take a look on him, they feel a deep hatred or fear towards him. His friends and lovers can avoid that by concentrating heavy...but their relationship will suffer.

Conduit:
-Light: He forgets a friendship, or a lover.
-Severe: He does not just forget a good relationship. It turns arround, Scream will suddenly hate his friend or lover.
-Harsh: The Neverborn posses him for a whole day.

The angrier the Neverborn are, the more and severe punishments will happen to him. They can put several punishments on him at the same time.



Abyssal:
-If he will die, his soul goes straight into Oblivion, where it's unmade. No way to call him back.
-Sunlight weakens him.
-Has to wear signs of death arround him, or will be weakened. (I count the chains with the prayers on them in. And the bleeding wound.)

I don't get it... if he has a friend or a lover or something, won't his masters just kill them, like it says here: "Severe:A mortal he holds dear dies" You say it's only an NPC, but... I dunno, it confuses me! If he starts to become friends with someone, won't the masters punish him immediately? And what happens if he keeps being friends with them--how often is he punished, etc?

Nah, if he gets one friend, his masters will simply get angry...but not to much.
I would say, he would get punished if he made 5 friends. (if you ONLY count the friends)
It's more about ALL the little things that makes them angry that ends in a punishment.
He saved once someones live, then he accidently told someone his real name, if he shows temperance...
To be honest, the whole mechanic is not completly watched by his masters, there are 99 more Abysalls then him. They automated the whole thing, if he does certain sins, he builds up Resonance. If he has to much of it, his masters notice, and punish him then.
They don't watch him most of the time, but notice when he does something, they won't like.
