Alt Name: Berra Razuke

A brief description of your character: Berra is a semi-demon who is escaping a bounty on his species (Asche/Arioche). He is intelligent, resourceful and pretty damn lucky to be alive.

Why/How is your character in Skuldhellir: Berra had been coming home from a battle at sea helping The Third Eye*. Being in a different area than the other fleet, Berra's ship, The Lady Luck** headed back toward his country. Later on, after already getting lost, a tempest began brewing right ahead, this tempest got Berra and his crew off-course even more. Weeks passed. Provisions dwindled. Most of the crew, starved. As for the rest of the crew... Frightening winged beasts, with talons like blades, took them off, most likely to eat them. Berra fortunately, was fast enough to get in the cabin. He was the only one left. Later, assuming it was safe to return, he noticed the water seemed closer than it was earlier. The ship was sinking. He was now very, upset. Upset about losing the ship and the crew,*** he climbed to the top of the crow's nest and dozed off... This was interrupted by a singing song bird**** that had decided to perch itself on the crow's nest. This was a sign of land. He got up and noticed the cold. Despite his reluctance at giving up The Lady Luck to the sea, he got on a lifeboat and rowed. As he approached the river, it began to snow.. "Of all the days to get your favorite boat shipwrecked after being lost at sea, and have to row a crummy lifeboat down a river while it is snowing..." He thought as he approached the dock..

Magic (OPTIONAL):
---Max Preps (1-10): Edit: Psychokinesis 1-6 (Like what Lauren said, but I suppose the number of preps would increase on certain things depending on what Berra's doing with the object, once picked up. Launch, slam on the ground, a simple push without a pick up, an assisted jump, etc..) Related separate thought: it's similar to The Force in Star Wars movies, minus the force lightning, stormtroopers, and lightsabers.

-Pyrokinesis: 1-4

Strengths:
---Natural:Extremely Fast. Intelligent,

---Learned: Musically skilled with most instruments, Empathetic,

---Supernatural: Psychokinetic, cannot die of old age, his left arm is more powerful and has long claws (demonic, but doesn't come with any other abilities than mentioned, doesn't use it often either, EX, his Right is for fast attacking, but the left is slower and would take more energy to attack and/or leave him open to attack) 'Nother edit: Weapons are enchanted with elements, (Berra can also channel Psych energy through them to use elemental attacks. His spear uses lightning, his katana uses fire. Pyrokinesis and Electrokinesis can only hurt anyone if these are on him at that point in time) can use harmless to very, very, very weak Pyro/electrokinesis without the weapons on him (Ex. He can warm someone up with the pyrokinesis. It looks like flames except it doesn't hurt.)


Weaknesses: Prolonged usage of Pyro/Electro/Psychokinesis gives him horrid headaches that would keep him out of out of later battles, weak immune system (considering the fact he isn't from these parts), Girls (though he is quite chivalrous) Has a bad sense of time, place and audience. Defensively, and magically weak against Earth, Water, Holy, and Cold, Quick to jump to conclusions, Curious/Nosy, headstrong, Won't be in battle too much too soon: Starving thus lacking energy, physically and mentally, Can't really afford to use any 'kinesises at this point. Impulsive. The demon arm is slow. It has no real powers other than strength.

I honestly see no problems with this character, but when it comes for the moderators doing their sheets, they will need a bit more depth in certain things.

Particularly, they'll ask you to gauge the strength of yoru pscyhokinesis, and even if it isn't necessarily magic, use the same magic system on it if it applies. Like preps for lifting heavier objects and such.

Actually he doesn't need to use the magic system, Kinz.

Berra, all you need to do, in this case, is give us a min-max range of preps.
Here's a quick example from Lauren's application to see exactly what I mean:

0 in this case would be something like a tiny pin or a feather (extremely light weight, insta-pick up), 6 is more in the range of wooden tables (durable, heavy, needs lots of focus to move). If you'd like, you're free to use that as a basis for Berra's abilities, or come up with your own (reasonable) numbers. We don't have a "psychic powers" prep-chart set up.

As for a number sheet, once you've edited your application to reflect the change, I'll take a crack at it. :3 If you're still confused for whatever reason, just give me a shout and I'll explain a piece at a time in detail.

Seem more like character quirks or small weaknesses that give RP more taste (and don't get me wrong, those are nice to have, but they don't balance out UBERLEETPSYCHIC POWAHRS ;) )

could possibly be amped up if you told us something more about those headaches. Would they act up quickly in combat and would they seriously hamper him?

And on a last note, how old is he? Unless he's so old he might die instantly due a natural death otherwise, the not dying of old age wouldn't really be a strength (IC times flows as fast as OOC time, usually.), so that'd help balance him out.

I would actually rate the "can't die of old age" strength a 0. We roleplay in real time, more or less, so it's kind of irrelevant how long he lives... as long as he can die via trauma and illness like normal people, you know? I might also boost all his elemental weaknesses together to about a 6 or so, but that still puts him at 24 to 14, so we've got some work to do.

It's definitely your kineses that are the problem here. Adding a few more weaknesses is always okay, but I would suggest lowering all your max preps. You don't need to be casting a 9-prep spell in order to do some solid damage, especially if these powers are mainly weapon buffs. I would actually stick to 5 or less for all three of 'em.

7-6 points away; you're getting closer. Just need a 5 point difference or less. Also I bumped down his more character-quirky weaknesses to a 0 because in hindsight, they didn't really seem all that worthwhile.

Also for the starving: it could be a long-term issue, but that is really determined by how roleplay goes and if Berra can find the means to eat properly again; still, it has potential to be debilitating should he have horrid luck and not be able to eat well for a long time or so, so I hope this numbering works for it.
